About me
I started in the film industry 20 years ago as a VFX matte painter artist. Over the years, I have worked on several notable movies, including Twilight, Avengers, Snow White, and Beauty and the Beast. (IMDB link). In parallel, I have contributed to major commercials for brands like Molson, Amazon, McDonald's, SAQ, Le Lait, BDC, Hydro-Québec, Loto-Québec, IGA…
Throughout my career, I have continually developed my art to create images in a wide range of styles, from realism to stylized looks. My primary goal has always been to effectively communicate ideas through images, ensuring that the director, the team, and the producer share the same vision.

COLORSCRIPT
moodboard for animation movie
Colorscript help visualize the mood of the entire movie in one image
A colorscript is a visual tool used in filmmaking to capture and convey the mood and atmosphere of an entire movie. It consists of a series of frames, each representing key scenes or moments throughout the film. By displaying these frames in sequence, a colorscript showcases the progression of colors and lighting that reflect the emotional journey and narrative arc of the story. This tool helps to visualize how the color palette evolves with each step of the movie, ensuring that the mood and tone are consistently aligned with the director's vision.

ENVIRONMENT CONCEPT DESIGN
2D concept design bridges the gap between the 3D team and the production
2D concept art is a crucial time-saving step in the movie design process. By developing visual ideas in 2D, artists can quickly explore and refine concepts before moving into the more time-intensive 3D modeling phase. This approach allows for efficient iteration and decision-making, ensuring that the design direction is solidified early on. Importantly, 2D concept art is created with an understanding of the 3D pipeline, meaning that it provides clear and practical guidance for the 3D team. This seamless transition from 2D to 3D helps streamline the overall production process, saving time and resources while maintaining a coherent and consistent visual style
